A film, performance and installation work by Lili Reynaud-Dewar
"French artist Lili Reynaud-Dewars project TEETH, GUMS, MACHINES, FUTURE, SOCIETY comprises of a film and expanded installation of sculptural objects and text-based works. The project revolves around two interconnected cultural icons: grills or teeth jewellery made of precious metals that are a status symbol in the rap and hip hop scenes; and Donna Haraways futurist essay, A Cyborg Manifesto (1985)." Ashley Cook played the role of the Cyborg Woman, navigating the film and installation and reciting The Cyborg Manifesto by Donna Haraway.
